An update on Last Night Before I Went To Bed.

The wind has changed but also died down. The smell is gone and the haze is abetting.

All is well where I am but some of the country is still burning and no rain.

Several people have been arrested starting fires. What does one do with them? Jail is not enough or not the whole answer.

Don’t know what the recommended sentencing category for arson is, but I hope it’s not misdemeanour.

Keep safe and keep watching because as we know things can change anytime with a lightning strike and a gust of wind.

Yes, what does one do with 14 year olds who start fires. I have no idea.

The world Is on fire 😟

So sad to think, as our Winter moves in.. that where we’d much rather be (at least me) is on fire 😕 I’m from the Pacific NW of the US, lots of ‘acts of god’ fires in the no-humidity Fall of the year. And, the same shit with intentional fire starters, a special kind of sicko. I say life in prison.. as it’s always premeditated.

Appreciate your updates ~
