I voted yes. I grew up in a religiously tyrannical society overseas. You could be just boycotted if not beaten for speaking anything against religion. But my family made it easy by what they did not say. They did not ask we follow any traditions, customs and ever go to temples. They were happy that we studied well and did not get bad habits. That was the sole focus. Therefore, I must say, yes, it was easy for me. They planned the escape route, I just used it. No risk. I made it even easier for my child. I told her not to even give it any time, focus on building herself and enjoying life. It was music to her ears... lol

Yes, at 14 it was very easy to leave the church. Leaving the belief in a God happened over a period of maybe another six years or so. No epiphany, it just gradually happened.
