But dirt is not dirty; it is the source of life. Without it there is no life." Still there are quite a few people who still don't get it.

The other word has been used so often we seem to be stuck on it even though it doesn't exist and has a deeply religious connotation. Can't we come up with a more secular word like inner being or awe?
