They went back to1900???!!!!!???
I would be far more interested if they stayed within the last 4 decades & broke it up into decades........1900?

Perhaps they should have selected those older books based on their current usage-many are now unknown but some like Twain and Fitzgerald are still read.

Not overly surprising but I'd be interested in finding out how they categorized the terms. "Unmarried" seems neutral, not negative. As does "unarmed". You almost need the full sentence to get the connotation.

@MsHoliday And that's why we need the sentence to see what the descripitor references.
