Impeachment

Mark up hearing on Articles of Impeachment in the Judiciary Committee

Republicans are arguing that the House should have taken Trump to court regarding subpoenas. Would it not be incumbent upon the person being served to go to the court to seek relief from a subpoena? To defy a subpoena without judicial relief is indeed unlawful, no?

Sure, wind this crap out for another few years. It’s been trump’s modus operandi his entire adult life; tie someone up in litigation until they run out of time, patients or money…

Republicans are quite literally throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. Why didn't they try to squash the supenaes to begin with? Courts are open to both sides. Seems they could have eliminated this issue quite awhile ago.

Heck, my fear (that the sheriff will come for me if I defy a subpoena) is strong enough to keep me from defying one.
