Is there hope that the current slew of gods, especially in the age of media (since the printing press) will fade away like the Greek and Roman and Norse and so so many other gods before even them and after them?

I believe all gods have a shelf life. The Abrahamic religions have the best so far.

I am of the view that religious faith in general is unsustainable. I believe that even the Abrahamic religions will become marginalized on the fringe over the next thousand years or so. The really crackpot fundamentalists will be the first to go; that might only take another century.

You have to really take the long view when it comes to the evolution of human thinking.

Only when Kardashians and the Hollywood effete fade also. They represent the same thing.
