This sums up my attitude to Christmas pretty well. Bah humbug!
I have 3 grandkids and I’ll enjoy sharing love with them. My son in laws parents turn up with a car full of gifts. I tend to gift a magazine subscription. I asked my daughter why she doesn’t talk to them about it as they’re damaging the kids with materialism. “It’s the highlight if their year”. She said.
