What about being a chaplain for all of the "nones" in military service. And what a group of GOP senators on that list. Not a good one in the bunch.

I don't really get the whole Christian military chaplain either. How can you be a god rep with the rule to not kill, to be counseling military?

They don't like the competition. Besides if they have more soldiers not believing then they'd have fewer that would be willing to die

Since the military works with 2 things, time served and qualifications and he meets those requirements then this is descrimination in a area that I don't think congress has any authority over.

And naturally a bunch of Republican lawmakers are at the forefront of keeping him from being a chaplain
