If I were religious I would say praying 🙂

And if you were a fundamentalist you'd be preying?

Being as pro-active as one can be in Florida. The Women's march next week, check. Volunteer for the phone bank and canvassing, check. There is only so much to work with down south, but I try.

I'm thinking about going to the Women's March in DC next weekend. also possibly phone banking for Bernie from here into Iowa. Don't know how to hook into that yet though.

I got snagged by work and won't be able to make it. My spirit will be there. No not the ghosty spirit, the engine of my psychic energy will be there.

I always volunteer for the blue nominee, and will continue that tradition this year.

Still a Bernie fan, I am working relentlessly. But also urging folks to "vote blue no matter who." Corrupt Republicans only win when we don't vote against them.

True.

Doing all I can to educate and inform people of the facts. Hoping the DNC puts up a candidate that voters won't decide to boycott or throw their vote away by writing in Mickey Mouse.

I'm wondering who you think wouldn't turn off some Democratic voters. They are a very diverse bunch. I can see centrists staying away from Bernie or Elizabeth, but I can also see progressives staying away from Biden and his ilk. Hilary lost some Democratic voters, and I can imagine those same staying away from Biden. The Democratic base isn't the same as it was before the unions were decimated, and Trump started picking off the working class.

@Kenoaks NONE of the candidates vying for president excite me and that is the biggest problem. So it again boils down to who's the least bad. I know for sure and for certain I will not be voting for trump 🙂.

Wondering.if at the core of Trumps ideas, he isn’t on to something. He is an imbecile and a knockabout clown, but the more I look at it, all the inhuman shit that he is involved with aside, he has the good of the country at heart I.e. he can’t be bought and I understand he has been asking awkward questions about where the money has gone by ‘draining the swamp’

You don’t have to worry, I’m not American so I won’t be voting, but in all conscience I couldn’t vote for him anyway.

I do wonder though if he has been asking questions that certain people don’t want to respond to.

Glad to hear you wouldn't vote for him if you could vote here BUT damn the reason he wants to know where the money is is so he can get his hands on it.

He is the sewer draining into the swamp. He doesn't care about the country. He is a sociopath, border line psychopath. He only cares a bout his own fat ass and absolutely nothing else.

Vote for whomever gets the Democrat's nomination.

Nothing at the moment, except watching and listening to the candidates. When we get closer to election time I will volunteer, as I always do, at my county's Democratic headquarters.

I haven't volunteered on a campaign since the McGovern campaign in 1972 (I was politically precocious). I felt that if America was stupid enough to chose Nixon over McGovern, what was the point? Now I know what the point is. It got worse. I vacillate between who would be the best demo candidate, but I'll donate to and volunteer for any of them, even Biden...ugh!

@Kenoaks Exactly. Even if I don't like the blue candidate who wins the primary, I will work my ass off this coming election. If this election gets lost to Trump, we can never trust another election to be fair and unsullied, and can kiss our democracy goodbye.

Paying attention. Keeping my thinking hat on. ...and wondering if I should give prayer a chance 😀

You can always pray, just don't expect "results. But I do believe that prayer does work for religious people in that it provides a lens to focus their actions and involve like minded people in support of their desires. It also helps them focus their consciousness on noticing opportunities that might have slipped away. All this can have real life effects, and seem like a miracle happened and prayers were answered.

So, pray away! Maybe those processes will fall into play for you.

I'll volanteer my time, and send in donations to the candidate I like best.

So far I haven't decided who's going to actually get my support - I think the campaign cycle is waaaay to long and refuse to participate until the actual year of the election.

Oh, almost forgot, buying a few new weapons and stockpiling ammo, too.
