I'm watching a Netflix series called "Victim Number 8". Its about a young Arab male who is blackmailed for a terrorist attack by other Arabs in Bilbao, Spain (Bilboa was the city of origin for my bicycle trip up the west coast of France in 2004 - nonsequitur- lol).

Anyway it occurred to me that the number of movies that have been made since 911 centering around Islamic Terrorism is quite high. Not unexpectedly.

Yet, the threat of a external jihadi attack has been minimized and had been kept under control more less prior to Trump ( not so sure now though).

Here's my observation though. The greatest threat to Americans living within the bounds of the US is not presently from Islamic terrorists, but from white nationalists. The increase in domestic terror from white nationalists since the election of Trump is up over 400%. There was one a day last week in Brooklyn.

So why are there not more movies, TV Series, media stories about this indigenous threat. Is it because they are white, because we prefer not to look at ourselves closely, or the distraction brought about by a white nationalist President? Just wondering.
