Has the US become the attack dog for the Saudis?

The following is the headline and the article that follows. My reason for posting is simple - to discuss this being made into an accusation of an Iranian attack, it is not. Al Shabob are sunni and are backed by SAUDI ARABIA. The Saudis and their backing of extreme wahabbism have given rise to the Taliban and Al Qada and ISIS or Daesh and Al Shabob and other groups. All more deadly than those lead by the Iranians (and they are not good people either - just note the Veep is ignorant to say they were involved in 911). I am rambling, but my goal is to point out there are two major forms of Islam and the one that we, the US, supports has caused us more pain and death than the other, which it now seems we are trying to provoke into a war. "Attacks" on Saudi oil fields didn't get Americans provoked to fight for the Sauds, but here we go, and the Saudis are licking their lips. We are going to fight their enemy. The US has become the attack dog of the Saudis.
