Unconditional love is only possible between a parent and a child. That does not mean that all parent/child relationships have unconditional love--only that it is the only way to experience it.

Speak for yourself, Stix - my mother was a spiky and hostile person and the only dog in my life bit me.

There's no such thing as 'unconditional' love.

Agape is Greek to me... just sayin'...

You get unconditional love from your mother and your dog. There is no such thing in a romantic relationship.

I didn't say always, but is the only unconditional love.
