Spent time in a cult, I don’t feel bad about it, it was a learning experience. The one thing I found was it was very judgemental and it made me realise many churches judge harshly despite what their doctrine says

There are virtually no techniques of destructive mind control and brain washing, known to totalitarian states and their secret police, that the churches do not use every day without ever being questioned. From the destruction of peoples self esteem, to alienation from mainstream culture, personal isolation and repetition of indoctrination.
