Again, you have to get off this wagon of thought that all the knowledge is in books. It is not. You have mixed up the idea of knowledge with being a bookish nerd. It does not work like that. I hope you will figure out some day. There is a lot you can read outside books... lol, YouTube for example. My daughter never read textbooks. She watched YouTube on everything and was the topper in SAT. Her teachers had most home work on watching YouTube and writing papers.
