The member below has been harassing me the past few days, and commented on this post and quickly blocked me so I could not respond to her. This is the same member who unjustly flagged one of my posts (among others) the other day, a post that contained nothing objectionable. Meanwhile, one of her posts is still up that contained degrading remarks about a certain group of people, and made sweeping generalizations. I'm better off now that she blocked me, but the flagging system is being abused, and quite a few other members have been saying the same thing.
Republicans forbade the Centers for Disease Controls from studying gun violence in America.
Ninety people die from gun violence every day in America.
90 from gun violence every day? Are you sure that isn't counting suicide? And how many are committed by legal owners of guns rather than gangs who already don't obey current gun laws?
Even if it was 90 and the laws could potentially eliminate those deaths (fat chance), why is that worse than the average 100 deaths per day by car accident? Do we need tighter restrictions on car purchasing?
