The roads here in Pennsylvania are horrible and have been that way for decades now. Potholes galore, a few years back there was a special on the local news about potholes being responsible for damage done to vehicles, and costly damages at that. Do you think the state cared about such? Of course not. I'd like to see PA roads maintained by a private organization, it certainly couldn't get much worse than it is now. Do note my restraint on how state workers handle snow removal...

I have family who live in neighboring states, and for decades now the neighboring states (namely Delaware and NJ) constantly poke fun at PA's horrible roads. Pennsylvania should consider switching their name to Potholesylvania...
