A woman I know recently died. She had acute respiratory distress and had been in hospital for about three weeks, mostly in ICU. She eventually was tested for COVID-19, but results weren't back as of yesterday. She had been moved to isolation a couple of days before she died.

Statistically it was probably the seasonal flu. Whether flu or coronavirus, she was at a vulnerable age. It is a sad reminder to be cautious.

Are you ok ?

Thanks for asking. Yes, I am fine. She was not a close friend and the last time I saw her in person was in early February.

I already had a nasty upper respiratory infection in December. Wish the specific pathogen could be determined.
