They (and me to an extent, because I am an actual liberal) really aren't represented by either party, and it's frustration with that aspect as much as anything else, imo.

What disturbs me is the cultlike aspect of hardcore Bernie followers, who for some unfathomable reason think he'll snap his fingers and get his way. Trump had both chambers for 2 years and still wasn't able to even begin to keep his campaign promises - and Bernies promised way more than Trump ever did.

@1of5 Yes, and I’d say the Democratic Party … or herd of cats, is basically a conglomeration of the bulk of this nation. So, we’re either hostage to the majority of them, or led to the ovens by their evil alternative. Obviously, psychologically fragile.. the BB’s need someone to blame … so, as mentioned before ..blame the adults

@VeronikaAnnJ Thank you for the compliment. I try to give everyone a fair chance to express their views and engage in debate, until I can no longer extend that courtesy. Over the years I've witnessed both political sides let their emotions run amok, and no one can think clearly when emotions take over. Not sure if I had mentioned this to you or not before, but from February 2019 to February of this year I had paused my account on here, got sick and tired of the emotionally charged responses my posts used to receive, and a nice break it was.

@VeronikaAnnJ Thank you, and the same, I can tell you're an intelligent person too, and intelligence along with a calm rational approach is rare on this site.

Oh, no shortage of creeps on here for sure, and I've received some odd messages too, besides the ones that were harassing in nature mostly due over some of the groups I host on here.

@VeronikaAnnJ Libertarian is the best word to describe my overall political views as well, I'm uneasy with both extremes. I host a Libertarian group on a site that is owned by the same Admin guy on here. For obvious reasons I don't want to mention that site on a public post, and Admin didn't really want the other site openly broadcasted on here for fear of attracting attention from the wrong crowd, but if you're interested I could tell you the site name via pm.

That's happened to me on here quite a few times already, posts being taken down over peculiar circumstances, and that usually means someone flagged the post. I've actually heard some posts that were deleted were done so due to some comments posted on them, especially if members were arguing and being nasty to one another.
