I have been reading about chloroquinone and a hydroxychloroquinone and azithromyxin combo to treat covid19. It can even work prophylactically. Something Positive:

It’s a virus...I doubt very much this cocktail will work, antibiotics are useless on viruses and only work on infections, quinine is an anti-malarial. Take it by all means if you believe it will work..but have you not asked yourself why, if it is known to work, is the WHO not telling the medical profession that they should be using it to treat patients with Covid 19?

Check cnn. It just came out.

Today I listened to Trump and his team blab about how well they are doing. How come this drug is never mentioned? Are they missing a preventative solution? Is Trump and his team just a bunch of idiots who don't know what to do?

Yes .

Becoause it is useless against a virus...Google the ingredients. Antibiotics could be used if, after getting COV-19, you got a secondary infection like pneumonia. Period.

Check cnn he just put it out there...the case for hydroxyquinolone and is attempting to push for its availability

In a combination w other ones , it might work .
I think the thought is to slow it down , which will be great .
W supportive antibiotics to take care the rest of issues , and other agents to drain fluid from lungs and calm the inflammation down , it might work .
I am interest to read what it does to liver and kidneys .

On the internet, it must be right. Google the ingredients, they do not work on Viruses!

Yes I saw on TV that they are going to experiment with these drugs to see if they are effective.

On the internet, must be true..... again, Google those substances and also "antibiotics vs. Viruses"

Its not that simple. But if you don't want it don't take it. Again science over opinions.....

”CDC research also shows that “chloroquine can affect virus infection in many ways, and the antiviral effect depends in part on the extent to which the virus utilizes endosomes for entry. Chloroquine has been widely used to treat human diseases, such as malaria, amoebiosis, HIV, and autoimmune diseases, without significant detrimental side effects.”[3]”

And this makes inroads on Coronavirus (droplet transmission) vs. Malarial infection (mosquito-borne) how?

@Lauraleigh39 on the internet, must be right......

Ummm, no........

Why that response? This is legit.

I really don't understand. This is a good thing.

@Lauraleigh39 antibiotics (amoxy..author, etc etc etc) of Any kind have Never had any effect on viruses, Never. Chloroquinone is for malaria, again, nothing to do with virus infections. Google them!

Read the research. These are working. Im sorry but ill stick with the scientists. Don't criticize a life raft when one appears...

It may be legit, but it's also very preliminary, all sorts of stuff like this is being posted. I'd take most of it with a grain of salt, social distancing to flatten the curve and more hospital beds to keep people alive are our only real hope in the immediate future. It would be nice if some cure was suddenly found, but that's more the province of Hollywood movies. (And boy, I've lost my taste for disaster and end of the world movies.)
