COVID 19: Christ Over Viruses and Infectious Diseases (Joshua 1:9)?
If any of your friends post this, please point this out:

1. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Aramaic. Any acronyms that Covid may represent should thus be for those languages.
2. English did not exist when the Bible was written.
3. The Israelites of the Old Testament did not use the numbering system that we use. Any supposed prophecy should thus refer to their numbering system, not ours.
4. Alternately, since the virus began in China, the acronym should be based on Chinese.
5. Alternately again, since Coronavirus is Latin, the acronym should be for Latin words.
6. Given the above, it is arrogant and simply ethnocentric to believe that God sends messages in English for a prophecy spoken in Hebrew, a virus with a Latin name, and a disease that began in China.
7. It is also simply dangerous to believe that there is any sort of supernatural protection for this. Just because something makes us feel good and protected doesn't mean it is true.
