Healthcare worker. Forty year old single mom to a toddler. Take immunosuppressants for crohns disease (stopped two weeks ago out of fear.) My elderly parents help me raise him. I have my own home but rent rooms to housemates for extra money. One of my housemates has a 7 month old baby. Today I have a runny nose, never ending sinus congestion, dry cough, abdominal pain, muscle aches all over, chills. I just reported myself online and hope to test next week. I will move out because of the baby...need to find a place to hide away from everyone. This sucks.

Shortness of breath is a main symptom

I don’t think a runny nose and sinus congestion are listed as typical symptoms but you’re doing the responsible thing in moving out. As a healthcare worker can you not access testing? Hope you recover quickly.

Please let us know how it goes!

Sounds as though you might have covid-19 and something else. Like allergies and/or a cold? It sucks that you have to wait on testing. Are you going on leave from work?

I hope that what ever it is, it passes through you gently and leaves you quickly. Please keep us informed on how you're doing.

I'm hoping you have a cold or regular flu. Another word, please recover soon.
