Yesterday, the weather was spring like and I dug and mulched and raked # the bed for peas under my kitchen porch. Even found the peas, but decided to leave the planting until, tomorrow, Procrastination - never a good thing. Over night, the cold winds started rattling the branches against the windows. You can feel the snow creeping in from Canada. So, here I am back in my winter jacket and mud boots; can't find my dibble, ready to plant peas. The Farmer's Almanac says it's possible to plant peas even when there is snow on the ground. Better take the ice pick as well.
I hope they will look like those in the photo.
Can I plant underr snow ?
Th artyicle I read said yes, you cn. However, the soil has to be soft enough to get the peas in there. If you need and ice pick, it is too early.
