April 1st, no joke social distancing now for 2 weeks. Kind of sick of it. I'm use to being out and about daily. Now just walking around in the woods and observing nature. Working around the place on land scaping projects I've put off finishing. I'll be glad to get this pandemic over with!

I think you’d better try to not be too sick of it at this early stage...because it’s going to continue for some time by all information that we are hearing. It will become the new norm for us in no time and we will fall into a new routine, restrictive though that will necessarily be. Most of us are quite adept at adapting, especially when there’s no alternative. In my case I live alone under normal circumstances, so it’s probably easier for me to adapt, and at present am catching up on my reading which had been piling up waiting for me to read. I can still get out and about because I live in the country, and my lane is pretty quiet, even at normal times. I do sympathise though, with city and town dwellers who may be cooped up with young children in small apartments.

I love the phrase. "adept at adapting" I think that is almost a classic tautology, and I can't wait to find a reason to use it myself as often as possible.

Could not agree with you more. Those of us who have a garden are so lucky, it would be almost unendurable for me without. Unfortunately I have read all my new books and am now forced to reread my old ones, but there is nothing wrong with that really.

@Fernapple I’m rereading an old book again too at present...I can do that if the time elapsed is long enough...a bit like rewatching a favourite film! Glad you liked my turn of phrase! 😁
