Is there anything positive for me in this crisis? Yes - the social distancing, the not shaking hand, the few people in supermarkets, no pushing at the till and many more small things.

That makes my life as an autistic person a lot easier.

About socializing - I am also sitting most of the time alone at home but never bored, maybe tired of this or that....I used to have family and children and several marriages....so I know both sides and the advantages and disadvantages of either. I am lucky with few friends I can trust and I tend to help myself alone most of the time without including any other person. On the other hand many people are supported with money and knowledge when they are having problems ....most of them are women....Well, since a couple months I have started to reduce this work. So only a few are still supported for several reasons - one reason is that after the death of my mother I cannot support others financially. The other reason is that many people don't follow my advice and thus creating more problems again...so I must sort out such people from my life because their ignorance is eating me up and sure, I don't want that! Finally I did this step ... And yes, internet can help to fill up the social gap πŸ˜‰ but it could also destroy our inner stability if we are addicted to this kind of communication...

It is really one of the positive sides of corona that even now people are keeping more distance to each other....but there are also negative effects I just realized these days....to carry 2 heavy bags and no place to seat is one of it, though not every seat was used but only by singles or people who are together anyway...so under the line it's not really important that this effect has become daily practice and the distance is more comfort but not for all of us, that's something we should be aware of...

I'm the same. I'm not good at saying something unless I have something concrete to say. I saw a wonderful meme recently about a emo guy who is usually stuck at home saying "I've been ready my whole life for this". I don't know about you but I've had to find things in life to compensate for lack of social connection and these things - books, video games etc. - keep me going almost as if very little has changed.
