I can't even say I hope the awful guy beats the really awful guy cuz it was the awful guy's party that ratfvcked my guy and his supporters both times, thereby causing the really awful guy to ratfvck all of us. Spread the misery, as far as I'm concerned.

You know the saddest thing in all this? There's nods to some of Bernie's policies, with the implication that they're only acceptable when being "administered" (i.e., blocked and prevented) by the pragmatic hand of Joseph R. Biden (i.e., his corporate puppetmasters). Those same puppetmasters have no problem with the Hair Fuhrer, as either he or Biden will faithfully deliver whatever is necessary to keep them all at the top of the heap as the rest of us scurry about desperate for crumbs. Don't believe that? If Biden isn't able to continue (quite likely because of his rapid cognitive decline or the party actually reading the tea leaves seeing Creepy Uncle Joe has no chance), does anyone think Bernie would then be the default nominee?

I loathe the lot of them with every fiber of my being.

Of course you want to FCK BDN. And of course both parties protect the ruling class.

Why in pluperfect hell did/do you believe that Bernie, without majorities in Congress, would be able to change anything?

Bernie sets the bar high enough and energizes followers to make things happen.

Compare that to Joe "Nothing will fundamentally change" Biden.

That statement was in a speech given to Wall Street, btw. That's who issues his marching orders

Dems did nothing even when they had majorities in Congress. That is a dead giveaway to their true agenda.

They claim to now be part of the resistance, but what they're resisting is progressive change, instead perpetuating their neoliberal centrist stranglehold on the party.

I think Biden showed his dark side during the campaign, being nasty to people asking hard questions, daring them to do pushups. and I can't even remember it all.He pretty much matches the narccism of Trump and seems to have matched in his mental decline. I hated voting for Hilary because like Biden they are everybody's bitch, and vote in to keep the contributions/bribes coming, not for their constituants. But I would vote for him and hope lots of Trump's asskissing cult members are voted out of office.

I'm in California which is safely blue. My not voting Biden won't affect its electoral votes.

I sincerely feel the DNC is misreading the zeitgeist as completely as they did in 2016. Running a candidate again with little more to offer than "Not Trump" does not energize the base. Democrats win through turnout. I think people will stay home yet again, which is also disastrous for down ballot races.

A party that says support our "hold-your-nose" candidate because "what other choice do you have?," does not inspire confidence.

I saw one comment over at Facebook (a screen capture of a Twitter post actually) where the person stating that instead of Biden supporters expecting Bernie to deliver his voters to them by default, they need to do what Bernie's team did: work their asses off phone banking, canvassing, convincing people based on Joe's policies, donating what little they had at every opportunity they had, etc. That made a lot of sense to me.

Biden won states he didn't even open a single campaign office in. He was outdone in fundraising by a candidate who took NO PAC $$$.

I do not begrudge anyone their choice on who to vote for, and, as with the case you make, understand and respect those choices. It is the very essence of democracy. But, moving forward, I expect to see a lot more bullying of those not supporting Biden, than I do for them trying to make a positive argument for supporting him and his positions.

What others can expect from me is a lot more bitching and moaning unless I see indications that Biden's team gets, and more importantly addresses, the frustration progressives have with him.

That being said, I thank you most sincerly for your thoughtful response to my unhinged rant. I wish the best for us all. Regardless, just like that common movie trope, "I gotta baaaad feeling about this."

Take care, my friend.

@WilliamCharles I got a bad feeling too.

@WilliamCharles I am in a county of Trumpians and state with Dem governor it was Chris Chrity before. so who knows.

Well, I'm glad I still have till November to stew. The corruption of the system is a feature, not a bug as far as I'm concerned.

In my opinion, the ratfvckers denying the ratfvckery taking place are the worst ratfvckers of all.
