Just like homosexual people feel need to come out have a voice be heard we athiests need to speak out save people from being slaves to religion I have hope you can fallow my example we can set people free if we try .

They both have been very effective. I also do feel as an atheist a certain kinship with those moments as we are a minority that do experience bigotry.

I agree the battle is the same for us as it is for gays. I can now relate to my son coming out. At least there is hope for change, but we won't be around to see much difference because it's a slow proceess.
