When, in 1775, Sheridan wrote his play, "The Rivals", he created a character called Mrs Malaprop, who continually used words incorrectly. (A humourous example would be to call someone a "supository" of knowledge. )
Thus Sheridan bequeathed to the English language a new word. "Malapropism".
Do you think that future speakers of the English language have been bequeathed a new word? To whit, a "Trumpism".
