Thimerosal (NOT THIMERASOL) is an antiseptic and antifungal (NOT a disinfectant in the same way bleach is) used in the storage of vaccines to prevent microbiological contamination. Tiny amounts of the preservative may carry over into the actual vaccines but have been extensively tested since the 1930's and been found to be safe in such miniscule amounts.

I don’t know much about it but I do know that some people do inhale hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer to cure certain illnesses but it’s not approved. Hydrogen peroxide is even being used in nebulizers in trials.
