His observation is right on point. America is becoming lazier and lazier regarding thinking, learning and knowledge. They want others to think for them just so they don't have to. Why do you think other countries are outpacing, outdoing, and outperforming the US in education?

It happens with the decline of any empire, and America is definitely declining... It's a repeatable pattern that historians have identified in recorded history.

I was taught growing up that if we do not learn from our mistake in history we are bound to repeat them.
