A side benefit of the social distancing and cautiousness brought about by the pandemic is that I have not caught a spring or summer cold this year. I don't often catch colds, but it does happen occasionally, sometimes a few times each year. I always assumed that I had touched something and then touched my face or something along those lines, which is almost bound to happen occasionally under normal circumstances. All it takes is to drop one's guard once at the wrong time. And there's not much more annoying than being sick in nice weather. Yes, it's really just an annoyance, nothing serious. But even so...
