I think both the police and rioters are wrong. The police for taking their power too far. And the rioters for taking out their anger on people who have done nothing to them.
Do Mom&Pop business deserve to be put out of business for the cops taking power too far? Do white people owe blacks for crimes they never commited?
We can look at what is happening through foggy glasses if we want. We can over look the questions we should be asking, but all that will do is confuse and cause conflict amongst everyone. Start with yourself. And tell me, what have you done wrong? And do you owe someone else for the crimes committed by others?
"I think both the police and rioters are wrong. The police for taking their power too far. And the rioters for taking out their anger on people who have done nothing to them."
You forgot the word "some." as in some cops are wrong.. You are correct when you say rioters are wrong, but all protesters are rioters...
"Do Mom&Pop business deserve to be put out of business for the cops taking power too far? Do white people owe blacks for crimes they never commited?"
No they don't.. But it's criminals who are looting and destroying busineses... And these businesses are probably insured... Does that make it alright? Nope..
You're right. Most cops are just doing their job.
Although I disagree. Not all protesters are rioters. There is a fine line between them. Protesters don't commit crimes. Rioters do.
I'm glad you agree with me on the second part. It's too bad most of those criminals will never pay for their crimes.
One of the differences is that some of the "protesters" are just there for the vandalism, or as is turning out, are rightwing agitators. Vegas FBI arrested three rightwing terrorists with molotov cocktails on their way to a protest to attack the cops with. But all of the cops are cops.
