Does anyone really believe that the IRA were freedom fighters?
Windows shattered and shards of debris flew through the air as the blast tore through office buildings and shops within a half-mile radius in Manchester city centre on June 15, 1996 . Minutes earlier two police officers are seen directing people away from the vehicle, which was packed with 1.5kg of explosives, and a bomb squad called in. A robot approaches the lorry but efforts to diffuse the bomb prove in vain as time runs out. Incredibly, nobody was killed but 212 people were injured and £700million in damage caused after the explosive device was detonated close to Marks & Spencer and the Arndale shopping centre.

Terms are subjective, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter, one regime's terrorist is there enemies heroic resistance. Our heroic espionage agent is their filthy spy.
Such actions may seem cowardly and unnecessary but the actions of wars are excused as being fought on so many front, including attrition and crushing of moral.
Personally I believe battles should be fought on battlefields between warriors as they were for thousands of years, dragging in civilians as pawns and cannon fodder is never excusable and is completely without honour.

"one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"
This is PURE nonsense.
Terrorist...One who terrorises a civilian population.
If you put a bomb outside a shopping centre. You are a Terrorist. There is no grey area here. YOU ARE A TERRORIST

@dermot235 did you bother to read my whole post?

@LenHazell53 I did. I just don't see the need to think subjectively about the definition of Terrorist or Freedom fighter
