Just because I'm not happy with our government policy doesn't mean I'm still not proud to be an American. I'm shocked at how much people hate us. I see it on this site.

I see some of that here too, along with critique. I think it is easy for people to lose their common sense and forget that, for the most part, all they see of the US are the headlines, particularly the most sensational ones, and that those hardly reflect most of life in America.

@Fred_Snerd There is no revolution. I remember the 60s. These kids will grow up to vote Republican.

@Fred_Snerd I'm not in a bubble. Nothing will change much. Things could improve, I just hope they don't get worse.

@Fred_Snerd I have not traveled the world but suspect that, for the most part, people are people everywhere. Cultural impact may vary somewhat, but the bottom line is we are human.

@Fred_Snerd You seem to be doing just fine too.
