From what I have seen in the news, tRump likes to use fear and the threat of violence that may be carried out in his name. ISIS uses fear and direct violence that they feel justified in for religious reasons. ISIS extremists have their beliefs reinforced by the Palestinian situation. tRump may or may not have anyone else's interests at heart, but it certainly appears his own self interest takes primacy.
So yes I see your point but, myself, I find that easy generalizations provide a false and unhealthy comparison. When we say Trump is just like ISIS we just provide the other side with fuel.
One lot are going left to right, and the other lot are going right to left ?
Give that man a groan.
@FrayedBear Thank you. Though I should perhaps add that, at least one of them is going the wrong way. Since surely they are both headed to the far right.
@Fernapple it's all perspective Richard. Although the soles of your feet are parallel to mine when we are standing upright, we both look up at the moon and west to the setting sun!
@FrayedBear Yes but I look up to the pole star, you look up to the southern cross. And if you look down a well in Aswan on mid summers day, you don't see any shaddows, which means that Cliffe Richards backing group never played Africa.
@Fernapple lol at the Shadows reference.
