This is just one reason why I question the numbers of deaths and infection rates for Corvid 19.

Corvid is a type of bird--crow family.

First of all, does it really matter if the Covid deaths are off by 10% or 20% or even 30%? It would still be well over 100,000 deaths and growing each day. At worst, hospitals (that are over-crowded and under-funded) end up getting some extra money.

Additionally, Covid might not have been the what killed some people, but many would likely still be alive if they hadn't caught Covid. Contracting the virus weakened them enough that a previously existing condition became worse and killed them.

But, what does it really matter? Would we be doing anything different if there were half as many Covid deaths right now? I hope not, because from what I can see, we're not doing enough. And some people aren't doing anything to help stop this.

Well yes, America’s rate should be in line with the World rate. If it’s not then your scientists will be spending a good year doing a follow up report on why there’s been such massive discrepancies.
At the end of the day consistent false reporting is propaganda and shows that you have a larger problem in the Country.
If Americans are more likely to have fatal results from a virus it may lead to rethinking current eating/ exercise trends or other contributing factors, at the moment there is no evidence that the percentage of deaths is higher, the main reporting is done on spread.

@dave1459 Not sure what prior pandemics have to do with alleged misreporting of Covid deaths. None of those were anywhere near the same widespread levels as Covid.

And I already explained in my previous post why it does not concern me. Under normal conditions, then I'd agree it would be of some concern, but what is happening now is unprecedented in recent history with only the Spanish flu, which was 100 years ago, anywhere comparable.

Also, not sure about your baseless accusation saying that I don't care about people who need jobs. Again, what does THAT have to do with misreporting Covid deaths? Sounds to me you're just lashing out at me because I didn't go along with your ridiculous theory that you have zero evidence to support.

Did you know its possible for people to have a discussion without being rude? I'm guessing you weren't aware of that.

@dave1459 YOUR original post was about over-reporting/misreporting of deaths from Covid and now you're going on about past pandemics and patterns or whatever. Can you at least stay on topic?

There HAVE been other pandemics in the 20th and 21st centuries but aside from the Spanish flu from 100 years ago and the Asian from from the 60's very little comes close, and Covid deaths will almost certainly exceed Asian flu deaths by next year. I'm not including AIDS because that is transmitted utterly differently. Nothing else even comes close.

But, patterns or not, what does it have to do with misreporting deaths? You have utterly failed to make any actual point. You are the one failing at logic, not me.

And at what point was my post rude? Feel free to quote me.
