For all of you in western Canada and US who are suffering thru smoke inhalation ,I have heard it is like smoking 40 plus cigarettes a day and do not have an air purifier or they are sold out every where her is a simple in expensive way to make one Go to you local hardware store etc where they furnace filters ,but a hepa one and install it in your furnace and turn the cirulating air on or if no Furnace buy a Hepa furnace filter and find a cardboaard box the same size and tape it into one end and then get your fan and put it at the other end,for best results have the fan well directed into the box,,ideally tape some cardboard around it so all the air gets pushed thru but MAKE sure you leave the back end of the fan fully open to suck the air ,It should make a big difference in a short while,I have a friend who is doing this on Vancouver island in Victoria ,Wish every one safety and health
Weve got some of it in Arkansas. At least this is temporary. Growing up in LA in the 60s they did a study that showed we all grew up with the equivalent of having smoked a pack of non filter cigarettes every single day just breathing the air.... And wonder why most of us wound up with asthma.
It's gotten as far as the UK now too.
We smelled it in the house here for a couple of days, but we had a heavy storm during the night, with lots of rain so hopefully it helped some.
so nice that happenned, yes the rain would certainly help clear the smoke out of the air
@RoyMillar Yes, neither one of us can handle smokiness. We had to put the bedroom window fan on exhaust to get the stench out before sleep. The rest of the house is closed up with the portable a/c taking care of any warmth.
