People, I have a confession to make. I read comments and I realized that most of you did not enjoy going to church but I loved going to temples because Indian goddess statues are made very horny. Have been doing grocery shopping on Sunday mornings , because the stores were less crowded when others were in church . Now , not so much any more . Unfortunately , the store hasn't added more clerks to make up for the difference .

I used to go into a particular church in Port Elizabeth just to view the architecture. Not the architecture of the make-belief saints and cheesy on the cross, but those the colour tinted glass on the ceiling, inbetween the windows. Come yo think of it those benches were made of expensive oak and teak too. As I got older and became more and more aware of all the BS, I thought to myself - damnnn it came at enormous expense to brainwash a nation. Ffs honestly. Those doors need to be open to the homeless, community centres and clinics or even school of the right kind (not god kind!) since those buildings were sponsored and kept sound by the govt.

My grandparents used to drag me to Catholic church. The pastor asked my 8-year-old self if I had any questions. I asked if he had ever performed any exorcisms. They didn't fool me then, and they don't fool me now. I can't believe people give 10% of their income to fund all the pedophile priest lawsuit defenses.

Why do parents have to manipulate kids is what I cannot understand. Lovingly guiding your kid from right from wrong and good from bad does not require a religion. Why don't they wait for kids to be old enough to make a decision, even if their decisions were not cast in stone at that point, but allow them to. Like an age where you can decide whom or which party to vote for. I couldn't sit or stand still in any temple, I got fidgety in the church. There was something stifling about any religious building. Its almost like it mentally choked you. As for Muslims, I use to tell them to their faces that they had no life other than the quran and prayers. They looked helpless outside of school. They couldn't think for themselves away from schoolbooks. I was called rebellious and naughty and rude. ...but only because I spoke up for myself and others from as early as 12yrs old. I obeyed like a good child before that until it got too much for my brain to handle
