As a society we have problems with things such as polygamy (multiple partners), incest, pedophilia (between people over 16, i'm not into little kids, that's gross), etc.

Now this is a really really uncomfortable topic but it just crossed my mind. Also I know there are genetic defects that come along with incest, not that I'd ever do it, it's really weird. Also I'm not a pedophile or an advocate of pedophilia, I honestly don't even like kids, they're a pain and annoying. But I will eventually have some later in life.

Should we allow these types of relationships to exist?

I have the philosophy that people can do whatever they want as long as they

  1. Don't affect me
  2. Accept responsibility for their actions

What are your thoughts? Okay or not okay?

I don't see any of this as "unorthodox relationships". A relationship implies a mutuality. Perhaps incest might sometimes qualify there, as may polygamy - depending on those involved.

However, pedophilia is an illegal act perpetrated on someone too young to give consent, and is often life altering for the victim ! Far beyond merely "gross" !

One more thing, if you feel that " kids are a pain and annoying", why on earth would you make any ? No law saying you must make babies, ya know, and the earth doesn't need any more ... Should you change your mind later in life, there's plenty that need homes.

I never had any kids, and make no apologies, or have any regrets.

At this point in time I just don't find the idea of having kids worthwhile. Mainly because I'm only just in my first year in university.

I do plan on having children someday and I'm going to make sure that they grow up strong and logical so that they can attempt to (only if they want to) fix modern society. I'm going to pass on to them the meaning and purpose of life (only if they agree to it) so that they can have a better shot at completing it than me. I've started a legacy and I intend to see it through, no matter the cost.

I will arm my children with the knowledge and skills that all children should have, if only their parents understood the importance of proper parenting and discipline. My parents, although strict, were right to discipline me when I needed it and I hope that even though I am an adult, they will continue to provide me with life skills and knowledge.

Parenting is the most important period of an adult humans life and yet so many produce failed results. I will not allow my children to be ordinary, to be weak. I will devote my life to making them the strongest that they can be.

Consent is the issue. An animal cannot consent to sex with a human. A child cannot consent to sex with an adult (biologically related or not). You can discuss the appropriate age or mental state that consent is possible. For all of us it is different but we do need some law/guideline defining when sex stops being non-consensual or rape and when it becomes consensual. Oh, and even though remotely possible the story about the girl and the muslim men sounds like a made up Breitbart story.

[dailymail.co.uk]

There are more cases in Europe on this kind of stuff.
I know not all of them do it but here's my analogy and why I agree with Trump's travel ban from certain countries.

If we say migration is like drinking water from your tap and the bad muslims are lethal concentrations of lead, would you keep drinking the water knowing full well you were going to die from it? Or would you turn off the water supply at the mains, find the source of lead and remove it before allowing water to continue to flow into your house to drink from it?

Trump has simply addressed the problem at the source, something no other "Brave" politician has done because it's controversial. We need to properly filter people before they migrate to a country so that these types of atrocities don't re-occur.

You sent me a link to the Daily Mail? The British equivalent of Breitbart. You say how you keep hearing about women being unfaithful to men and not the other way around. Either you have selective blindness or maybe women just don't like sharing with you. Letting Muslims immigrate is like poisoning our water? Well, I live in the US and after all the mass shootings I am beginning to think that what is poisoning us are well-armed white men having a bad day. Maybe we should start rounding up white guys? I'm more likely to be killed by one of them than a Muslim immigrant. Are you lying on purpose or do you truly believe this? Are you a Russian troll or do you just believe what they post? This is as much energy as I'm willing to spend on you because if I keep responding to you I will say something that gets me kicked off the site.

I'm with you @kmdskit3. @Lancer is a fucked up white supremecist bullshitter, who happens to claim that he's served (hence the "Lancer" ) and is from the UK. I'm surprised he's not been banned from this site.

I'm not a troll. I honestly don't care about how many people die from whatever causes. I didn't know them so I don't pretend to feel sorry for them.
Also I realize that you both may disagree with me on these points. But you cannot deny they fact that Islamic extremists have a tendency to bomb civilians.
Yes America has a problem with how to deal with criminals, but gun laws won't work. America is beyond the event horizon (so to say).

I'm merely looking at all of society and saying, yes, there are problems. Different problems for different cultures. And different problems require different solutions. America is failing because as a country it has strayed too far from the old values. This era of forced tolerance, of forced acceptance, of forced integration. It is harmful to all.

I have never served in the military and I don't claim to. I was going to but some SAS soldiers whom I respect, told me it's not a life worth perusing. Fighting for a country and people who would no sooner tell you to kill the enemy than they would turn their back on you and imprison you for following orders.

Also this white supremacist stuff is bullshit. All races have horrible individuals in them. I've been racially vilified by Indians, Australians, British. But I don't care about race. The first thing one must do to get rid of racism is to stop talking about it.

I'm an Australian and unlike most other young people, I was raised right with a balanced upbringing. I have been bullied before but I didn't just cry and accept it. I stood my ground and am stronger because of it.

I believe that the muslims, Americans, Australians and all of the world have their own problems which require different solutions. Is that so bad? Is it bad to want to ban Iranians from entering the US when they've elected anti-American leaders for years?

Also there's a reason the King of Algeria, the Egyptian military, Saddam hussein and Colonel Qaddafi all stopped the muslim brotherhood parties from enforcing sharia law in their countries. It is barbaric, but to be honest maybe we do need a bit of barbarism. Some floggings in the streets and public executions? Then you can get a taste of cultural exchange.

All I'm saying is we need to keep our problems separate and fix them individually. Don't mix them up.

@kmdskit3 America is responsible for the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, ISIS, IRA and many other terrorist group armaments. They fund terrorism and global instability throughout the world. Aren't they a bigger threat?

@zanyfish I'm not a white supremacist, I speak the truth when I say that we all have cultural problems that need solving. The world is losing so many important things nowadays, we need strong leadership, we need unity, we need a future we can look forward to. Trump claims he can give this to America, so why not step back, give him a chance to make good on his word and then have an opinion based on what he has done after 4 years.

I have no prejudice against anyone. I just don't want to spread suffering.

Whoa! Thats way out there. Little people become big people. Watch out! Everything you do has consequences. You hurt, you get hurt! You can change the balance of persons life by taking some kind of advantage over young people. Some young people need help understanding life. You can turn them into stalkers and bad criminals and whatever comes to their mind. The mind that was screwed up as a child. The mind that needed a little extra help. Rule of thumb, respect all people. That includes young and old. We are all human beings. The young eventually become the leaders. They could control everything. Even pushing that button. We have to save the young from harm and teach them charity, love, and kindness. We will eventually be under their care. Love all. Be respectful. Be the leader to the next generation so they may have a functional example to follow.

I like the way you think sir.

Pedophilia may eventually affect you. THe trauma to the individual may resonate through their life

Good point. Im sure any traumatic experience would do that to most people.
