How they came to the conclusion that "African Americans are indigenous to America" from the video is beyond me. Nowhere in that video did 60 Minutes state, or even suggest, that claim.
And yes, "African Americans are indigenous to America" is the claim that the video producer/editor, NOT 60 minutes, stated at the end of the video.
On the contrary, the video only criticises the naming the specific African tribes as the origina of a DNA. The video doesn't specifically state that "African Americans are not African". Instead it suggests that specific tribes shouldn't be given as a DNA's origin because it is misleading - but not totally wrong. Giving one specific tribe as a DNA's origin is misleading because matches for other African tribes are possible. Therefore, African American DNA can find more matches with African DNAs than with DNAs from other regions of the Earth.
This video is literally Fake News. I'm surprised that someone who thinks critically would post this.

@Captain_Feelgood the news is from CBS. But it was recorded by an app called Screencast. And whoever did that and also overlaid the titles in red with "African Americans ain't from Africa" is not from CBS. Just some YouTuber, not CBS.
Serious question: How could you think that this edited YouTube video is from CBS themselves?
