The latest pseudo-intellectual one I saw was essentially stating that if you're not attracted to all races and cultures equally, it's because you're racist. They claimed that what we are attracted to in partners is learned racist behavior. What rubbish, but it's being shared like mad by people who just so happen to be primarily attracted to races other than their own and are trying to seem morally superior and also by conventionally ugly people who would generally not be selected. More people looking to water down the definition of racism and perpetuate yet another victim complex, meanwhile accusing others of practicing things that they actually don't.

@eternalwisdom I understand what you're saying, and there is some truth to it, but I do think there's a fair amount of unconscious racism around. Not overt, or acted on, but still there underneath. I include myself in this statement, though I try to fight against it.

Shaming people for their biological attraction to particular people in their environment within their own culture is preposterous. It's bourgeois Hollywood novelty logic. Most people live in communities where their ethnic group is predominant and therefore develop attraction and have romantic encounters with those people. They can't cherry pick partners based upon novelty cultures, complexions etc. That only works in very multicultural areas. To say someone from Nebraska for example is racist because they only date white people is asinine. We are talking about human beings, not items at a buffet.
