Let's put this in perspective. Nothing that Biden did at anytime last night even approaches the antics by DJT. He called trimp a clown once, but that is pretty much it.
By putting it the way you did is putting both on the same level of degenerate. This is the type of arguments I do not approve. The idea that one Group or one person does something, therefore you have to accuse the other group of the same thing. It's like one group couldn't simply be guilty all by themselves.
This like the "What about....." arguments Republicans have made popular since DJT entered the political stage. Its sort of like that playground taunt, " same to you, but more of it". Its just not an valid argument. DJT was unabashedly out of line, oafish, rude and reprehensible. Biden was not any of those things.

Running two shit candidates against each other is an affront to the Republic.
That may be. But conflating both of the same behavior when that is not the actual case isn't any better. I'm tired of people arguing "both sides are guilty" when that is not the truth. One side is guilty of atrociousness, where other side doesn't come anywhere close to their behavior. Democrats their problems and flaws, but the are not so blatantly immoral and unethical as the Republicans

Things are a matter of degree. The balance is not equal in any way. The side bearing DJP's lies so outweighs the side with Biden's lies. There is no comparison. Biden has his untruths, but in 4 years DJP has multiplied the the number of spoken lies beyond what Biden has gone in 47 years of politics.
Lying is never good or acceptable. People over time say things that are exaggerated or outright lies that they wish after the fact had never been spoken. But no one in politics I know of (45 years of being politically aware) lies as easily as he breathes as does DJT.
