I believe it but sadly our Democratic leaders will not be able to do anything. Trump and his machinery have always outsmarted Democrats in every step. That is sad.

Ask not what the enemy will do, ask how our leaders will lead us.

This sounds a bit over the top. I seriously don't think such a thing will happen. Wouldn't this amount to treason anyhow? If so, the president could be arrested. Otherwise, this would amount to complete upheaval of our how our federal and state governments function. It would be so completely unpredictable and unprecedented in the U.S. and I don't think trump has the guts or intellect to orchestrate a coup of our government nor does he have the backing to do so. If he tried this, the majority of Congress would turn against him, because why would a dictator need a Congress that was created as a means to balance power within our government.

This is an attempt to bypass the electoral college. It could be successful with a close electoral win for Biden. If he gets 300 electoral votes, this won't be successful and could lead to the end of the electoral college at some future date. This is frightening.
