So I've just watched 2 episodes o the Netflix series Queen's Gambit, and I must say it is good. I have to give props to Ana Taylor Joy as she pulls off a very believable act as Beth Harmon who plays and wins at chess. I wonder, is that a metaphor for life?
I guess it is true...given the right director, even the most mundane activities can become interesting.
