I relate religion to Grimms Fairy Tales. At times entertaining, but so dark and full of evil. I have seen so much hate portrayed as love in the name Gawd. I believe I would categorize myself as an Intellectual Atheist except for all the damage religion has done. Because of this, I feel it's more accurate to define myself as a Militant Atheist. Opposed to all the make belief, power, control, bigotry, racism & misconduct behind closed doors that religion engenders. Closest I can describe it is the disgust I feel for all things Trump! I also think anger and hate are a complete waste of time, so I'm in a pickle... I've got good emotional control, but think I need to work on this aspect of myself, until I can reach that Intellectual Atheism level.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Your little bit of personal hate however strong, will not waste one thousand part of the time that religion would. And hate is not always bad, sometimes it motivates people to do great good, control it use it but do not try to suppress it. That way only leads to a build up of pressure, followed by explosions.

Personally I disregard all the subsections and niche sections of non belief and simply call myself an atheist, if pushed a strong atheist.
As far as religion in general is concerned aside from the god question I am anti-theist as regards the organisations built around belief in the sky daddy, because they exist, I cannot be anti something that is non existent.
