Yay, the vaccine is on it’s way, but has to be stored at -70 degrees: so don’t buy over the internet!
A new more easily stored one is going through final stages of testing.

If you live in the USA you will not be buying any such thing over the internet, it will be a prescribed drug

Oh, that’s good it seems we only hear about private health over there.

Minus 70 degrees apparently.

@girlwithsmiles Celcius? Fahrenheit? Kelvin?

@GeorgeRocheleau centigrade, and here is the proposal for transport and storage: [bbc.co.uk]

So keeping it at minus 20 degrees is "more easily stored"?

It’s the Oxford/ AstraZenica one they’re talking about. They said it was easier to store on the news, but not the specifics. But apparently it can be stable at 2-8 degrees, CNN Philippines reported (not the link, that’s about the 4 forerunning vaccines).

@girlwithsmiles Astra Zeneca's vaccine, if approved, can be kept in a household fridge for up to a week.
I was thinking of the Moderna vaccine which needs -20 degree storage.
