you have a VERY LIMITED world view... the ONLY purpose of government is to care for it's citizens... they do this by citizens paying TAXES which they use to build roads, schools, police, fire dept, etc etc.. try to expand your thoughts... @CourtJester

@Leetx The government’s one and only job is to maintain a sociological structure that people can support them selves. Nothing more. That does not include $2,000 checks to people.

@Leetx If they won’t or aren’t willing to support themselves; then absolutely. Abso-damn-lutely. If they are handicapped in some way, I will gladly help them. I do that often. There is however very very few reasons for an able bodied human to ‘need’ handouts. Giving them handouts only increase their reliance on future hand outs.

@Leetx Walmart, Burger King, McDonalds, and the the hospital I work at are all hiring. There are jobs out there. I’ve done some pure shit jobs to pay my bills while in med school and In many cases was awake for 20 hours at a time. No one will convince me that it’s a good ideas for my tax dollars to pay lazy people to wait for convenience to come back around for them.
