Trump's potential reasons for submarining the COVID relief bill:

1. To look like a hero to his base by upping the to $2000, when he knows it won't fly with the fiscal conservatives. Sad thing is most of his supporters are too stupid to see the ploy;
2. To punish and undercut McConnell and the other Rrpublicans after they acknowledged Biden as President-elect, by creating a situation whereby the Republicans would lose in Georgia as a result of the $2000 increase not getting passed;
3. To exact maximum damage on the country to take revenge for his lost election and destroy as much of the Republic as he can before he officially leaves office.
