What's your question?

skado Level 9 Apr 12, 2018

I have a 10 mm stone in my kidney. Will it pass?

@Neeooo420 I’m not a doctor but I recently had a stone. My doctor told me anything above 5mm usually requires medical assistance. Mine was 5mm and I managed to pass it without surgery but it was 9 days of hell. Stones can be composed of different materials, requiring different treatments. My unprofessional guess is that if you don’t have medical assistance you’re gonna seriously wish you did. Best wishes. Let us know how it goes.

@skado I was in the hospital. They tried going in through my penis last week when it was a 7.8mm stone. All he did was push it back into my kidney. As of last Friday it was 10 mm. Might be bigger now. I was scheduled today to have it blasted with the ESWL. Someone screwed up the paperwork and the insurance company never got the authorization. So they canceled me. I have a stent in now though.

@Neeooo420 Damn! What’s the next step? Wait and see? May have to go to ER.

@skado they are trying to get the authorization so it can be done next week. If I have any problems thats where im going.

@Neeooo420 Good. I hope they’re able to take care of it next week. That stuff can be some mighty fine misery.
