Syrian conflict sparked a thought, would we the human race still fight and kill each other if no religion existed?
Would kill way more IMHO. As much as I'm not satisfied with any existing religion NOW, I still belive in 'good?" old days it was necessary just to hammer into everyone heads "thou she'll not kill". Even that not always worked, but as I imagine a world with NO tau for killing at all... I remember Africa before white people came there. Tribalism with jolly cannibals killing neighbours just for food and fun...
Of course we would still kill each other. Besides, Syria isn't about religion. Up to 50% of all interstate wars just since 1973 have been because of oil, a resource. Resources, land, fear, and on and on and on.
The world has always had some type of war ,war is usually over resources or some type of religious based non sense. , things like this ,what recently happened in Syria is an example of how in civilized people can be. As for exterminating religious people. I don't think it has to come to that
Not that same question again. 7th time in 2018?
