And then it will be no seat belts, no vehicle inspections, and no speed limits.

The state makes money off the inspections, and tickets, so I doubt they will stop them

they won't stop those but id like them to

Turning into it's own little germ-infested third world...wait, is there a fourth world? Need something lower than "third" because actual third-worlders aspire to running water & power, and taking advantage of medical knowledge.........

Texas, please secede! You’ve been threatening for years! Now is the time!

Just like New York, we have ourt share of kooks, ours just keep getting elected, the carziest being elected in the most gerrymandered districts. But much like Florida and California as we add more and more people, the idiots are more visible.

@glennlab I agree New York has nuts, but the governor and senators are not affected by gerrymandering so that excuse for Abbott doesn’t hold water.

@Killtheskyfairy I agree and we damned near fired fleddy teddy 2 years ago. The fact that the gov is elected in off year elections plays almost as heavy as gerrymandering. No real excuse except is is damned hard to get out the vote when the primaries allow cross over voting so that the republicans get to pick the democratic challenger. I have tons of voter stories that make me want to rip my hair out.

I've been to Texas. People there think it's the greatest place. They killed President Kennedy. It's all gone downhill from there.

It was not a collective effort.

@glennlab! I know. Just the entire city of Dallas.

@glennlab. you all have really great Tex-Mex food, though.......

@AnneWimsey I have to agree with you on that.

I love texas but I don't agree with the way republicans are running her
